Ballarat 2: Soverign Hill

On our second day in Ballarat we visited Sovereign hill. I'd recommend this theatrical tourist invention to anyone traveling through Victoria.
Basically Sovereign Hill is a reconstruction of an old mining town. You can wander around from shop to shop, drink in the saloon, make candles, watch gold smelting, musket firing. You can go gold panning, try old fashioned bowling or take the amazing mine tours.
Its full of people in period dress and they have street theater which is a very funny, very interactive. You really feel like you are part of that world. Its very well done, quite professional and there's a lot to see.
We took tons of pictures and videos, enough to bore your all, we couldn't resist!!
