Feb 23rd -temples and a wooden windchime

Today was a quiet day, it was one of those in-betweeners, or "get as much ancient city seen as possible". It is hot in Cambodia, very hot. In fact, its the hottest place I've ever been by a landslide. So, when you are wandering around the temples, it like being a target for the sun, there is no shade, not in the smaller temples, it can be exhausting.
We went to see a few small temples that have trees growing through them, these are on the edge of the jungle, they look like the epitemy of ancient, undiscovered cities: Indiana-Jones would have been proud. There are several overgrown temples that the trees are claiming, one of these was the set for Tomb Raider.
We also met a women making hand crafted items from palm trees. She used every part of the palm: from the milk which made fudge-like sweets to the shell which made bowls and plates as well as oranaments. We got a wind chime which we carefully carried (it broke a little though) to Austalia with us( it was made of wood which we will come back to).
